One day after his alma mater added a Heiman Trophy winner, Odell Beckham Jr. will pay tribute to his time at LSU.
Taking the field for pregame warmups prior to the Cleveland Browns’ matchup vs. the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday afternoon, Beckham will wear a gold and purple pair of his signature Nike Vapor Untouchable Pro 3 OBJ Uptempo Cleat. According to Nike, the colorway is intended to pay homage to LSU, as well as Beckham’s favorite NBA team, the Los Angeles Lakers.
On Saturday, LSU quarterback and Ohio native Joe Burrow won the 2019 Heisman Trophy, which is awarded annually to the most outstanding player in college football each season. Burrow is just the second Tigers player to win the award, following Billy Cannon Sr., who won the 1958 Heisman Trophy.
A native of Baton Rouge, Beckham spent three seasons at LSU from 2011-2013, tallying 143 receptions for 2,340 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Previously this season, Beckham has worn cleats — both pregame and in-game — that pay tribute to some of his favorite Nike sneakers, including the Atmos Air Marx 1 Supreme ‘Animal Pack,’ Travis Scott Air Jordan 1, Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Galaxy,’ the Air Jordan 1 ‘Shattered Backboard,’ the Air Jordan 5 ‘Fresh Prince’ and the Air Yeezy 2. In 13 games with the Browns this season, Beckham has recorded 59 receptions for 844 yards and 2 touchdowns.
