The back end of the Cleveland Browns defense is going to have a different look in 2020.
Two days after signing Karl Joseph, the Browns have added another veteran safety, with Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network reporting that Cleveland has agreed to a one-year, $2.25 million contract with veteran safety Andrew Sendejo.
Having parts of the past nine seasons in Minnesota, the 32-year-old Sendejo is no stranger to new Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski, who arrived in Cleveland after spending 14 years in the Vikings organization. After going undrafted out of Rice in 2010, Sendejo spent time with the Dallas Cowboys and New York Jets, before signing with the Vikings in 2012.

In 2019, Sendejo signed a one-year contract with the Philadelphia Eagles, but was released after nine games. After returning to Minnesota for the final six games of the season, he wrapped up his 10th year in the NFL by tallying 45 tackles, 2 of which came for a loss, 4 pass defenses and 3 interceptions.
In addition to Sendejo, the Browns have reportedly agreed to terms with tight end Austin Hooper, offensive tackle Jack Conklin, quarterback Case Keenum, linebacker B.J. Goodson, safety Karl Joseph, defensive tackle Andrew Billings, cornerback Kevin Johnson and kick returner JoJo Natson.
