The 2020 NFL Draft will go on — albeit under unusual circumstances.

But while the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic means that there won’t be a traditional in-person draft in Las Vegas next month, it appears the players who are selected from April 23-25 will still be receiving new headwear.

On Tuesday, the NFL’s official cap manufacturer, New Era, released its new line of hats for the upcoming NFL Draft. Playing off of Las Vegas — which was originally slated to host the draft before the coronavirus outbreak — the black hats feature each team’s logo in an outline of neon lights.

Included in the collection of new draft hats is the cap for Cleveland Browns, which features their “Brownie the Elf” logo in an orange and white outline on a black hat.

It’s worth notiig that the Browns are expected to unveil new uniforms in the coming weeks. After the team’s rebrand in 2015 was largely panned by fans and fashion critics alike, Cleveland is expected to return to a more traditional look in 2020 — the first year that the Browns were able to undergo another uniform change.

While the elf had previously been used as an alternate or throwback logo, its presence on the draft hat could indicate that it will soon be the Browns’ primary logo. Other new Browns gear related to the draft shows the team’s traditional helmet logo, confirming that Cleveland’s helmet won’t be changing in the upcoming rebrand.

The Browns enter the 2020 NFL Draft laying claim to the No. 10 overall pick.
