CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Browns have made their first significant move hours into the legal tampering period of free agency, resigning center 27-year-old Ethan Pocic.

According to a report by NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, the deal is for $18 million over three years, a savvy deal for one of the top free agents at his position on the market.

The former second round pick spent his first five years in the NFL with the Seattle Seahawks before signing a one-year deal with the Browns in free agency last winter. Originally signed as depth behind new starting center Nick Harris, Pocic was thrust into a long term starting role in August of 2022 after Harris suffered a season-ending knee injury.
