CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Browns have signed defensive tackle Maurice Hurst to a one-year deal, according to Orange and Brown Report and 247 Sports reporter Brad Stainbrook.
Hurst, a five-year veteran, missed all of 2022 with a torn biceps injury that he suffered in training camp while with the San Francisco 49ers. Hurst also missed significant time in the 2021 season due to a calf injury limiting him to only two games during the regular season.
In his first two seasons with the Oakland Raiders, the former fifth round pick racked up 7.5 sacks, 59 tackles (37 solo), 7 tackles for loss and 11 QB hits.
Monetary details on Hurst’s contract have yet to be revealed.
