CANTON, Ohio — The Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2023 is set to receive their Gold Jackets later tonight.
The dinner will present the inductees, including legendary Cleveland Browns’ left tackle Joe Thomas, with their iconic Hall of Fame Gold Jacket created by Haggar.
3News will stream the Enshrinees’ Gold Jacket Dinner, which is hosted by the NFL Network’s Steve Eisen, live in the media player at the top of the story as well as on WKYC+ (Roku, Apple and Fire TV).
Each year, more than 100 Hall of Famers return to form the “gauntlet” to welcome the newest members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, which includes Joe Thomas, Zach Thomas, DeMarcus Ware, Darrelle Revis, Rondé Barber, Don Coryell (deceased), Chuck Howley, Joe Klecko and Ken Riley (deceased).
The inductees will receive a customized jacket that features a specially printed label that includes the enshrinee’s name, class year and induction number. The iconic jackets were created in gold to signify those who receive the jacket are the “gold standard” of professional football.
4,000 people are expected to attend the dinner which is taking place at the Canton Memorial Civic Center.
