CANTON, Ohio — Welcome to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Joe Thomas.
On Saturday, Thomas, the legendary Cleveland Browns left tackle, was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton.
Thomas became the first Cleveland Browns’ player to be enshrined into the Hall of Fame since tight end Ozzie Newsome in 1999.
The 38-year-old, who established himself as one of the best left tackles, was enshrined after being elected in his first year of eligibility. In his 11 seasons with the Browns, Thomas was named to 10 Pro Bowls, played 10,363 consecutive snaps and earned six first-team and two second-team All-Pro selections.
