CLEVELAND — Following a tough 26-22 loss against AFC North rival Pittsburgh Steelers, the Cleveland Browns will look to start fresh as they play host to the Tennessee Titans in Week 3 of the NFL Season.

After a tough 26-22 loss against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Cleveland Browns will try to redeem themselves in front of their home crowd.
In their first non-division game of the year, the Browns will be without Nick Chubb, after he suffered a season-ending knee injury in the Monday night loss in Pittsburgh. With Chubb out of the mix, the pressure will be on quarterback Deshaun Watson, who has looked uncomfortable so far this season, completing only 55.1% of his passes.
As for the Browns’ run game, Jerome Ford will be a key component after notching 106 yards on the ground in Monday night’s loss. The return of Kareem Hunt to the Browns will also be pivotal to the team’s offensive performance.
Northeast Ohio native Mike Vrabel and his Titans are coming into Cleveland off of an upset win over the Los Angeles Chargers, 27-24, in overtime. The Titans possess a strong run defense, giving up just 2.7 yards per rush, which ranks second in the NFL. This could be tough for the Browns as they have been a team heavily relying on their run game this season.
One of the keys for the Cleveland Browns will be to maintain the strong defense that they possessed in the first two weeks. The Titans’ offense will be equipped with running back Derick Henry, who is looking for his first 100-yard rushing game this season. If Cleveland is able to continue its trend of shutting down the ground game, having only given up a total of 130 rushing yards so far this season, the Titans will be forced to turn to Ryan Tannehill and the receiving core consisting of Treylon Burks and DeAndre Hopkins.
