CINCINNATI — The Cleveland Browns head into Week 18 against the Bengals attempting to put a cap on the 2023-24 regular season as they head into the playoffs.

The Cleveland Browns (11-5) have clinched a wildcard spot and are locked into their post-season, resulting in the team resting the majority of their starters in Week 18. However, the team is focused on winning the Battle of Ohio and continuing their five-game win streak, resulting in more momentum heading into the playoffs. 

While Flacco fever is still alive and well in Cleveland, the vet will have the week off as the Browns will turn to their fifth quarterback of the season, Jeff Driskel.. 

The Browns’ defense will take on the Bengals (8-8) and their QB, Jake Browning, after the loss of Joe Burrow earlier this year. Despite being eliminated from playoff contention following last week’s loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, Browning has impressed in his six starts throwing for eight touchdowns and 1,712 yards. 

While the Bengals aren’t fighting for a spot in the playoffs, a win on Sunday secures the team with a winning season, finishing above .500.
