WKYC: Al Roker rooting for Cleveland Browns in NFL playoffs

CLEVELAND — “Go Browns!”

That’s right! Our friend Al Roker of NBC’s TODAY is getting behind the Cleveland Browns as they prepare to battle the Houston Texans in the NFL playoffs this weekend.

“I am full in on the Browns, baby!” Roker told 3News as he appeared on the GO! morning show on Tuesday. “All the way! Yes! Let’s do this thing!”

Roker, who once worked at WKYC early in his career, also added this…

“I don’t much about football, but I know one thing: I know there is no New York team going into the playoffs. That’s a given.”

The Browns go into the playoffs with an 11-6 record, while the Texans finished the regular season at 10-7.
