CLEVELAND — The holdout is over. According to multiple reports, the Cleveland Browns and star WR Amari Cooper have agreed to a contract restructure as Cooper enters the final year of his current deal.

After skipping mandatory minicamp this spring in search of a new deal, Cooper and the Browns have agreed to a compromise as the two sides continue to explore a contract extension beyond this year.

The restructure reportedly guarantees Cooper’s $20 million base salary for the 2024-25 season along with an additional $5 million in incentives.

In his two years with the Browns, Cooper has been one of the most productive wide receivers in team history amassing 2,410 yards and 14 touchdowns on 150 receptions. Cooper also set the record for most receiving yards in a game this past season with 265 against the Houston Texans on Christmas Eve, surpassing the previous record set by Josh Gordon in 2013.
