Here’s a look at the Cleveland Browns’ initial 53-man roster following Tuesday’s roster deadline.
CLEVELAND — With the NFL preseason in the books and the 4 p.m. Tuesday deadline passed, the Cleveland Browns‘ 53-man active roster is set… for now.

With hundreds of players hitting the waiver wire and free agency, the Browns’ final 53 is likely to look much different going into week one against Dallas. Notably, the Browns elected to keep 4 quarterbacks and 2 running backs on their active roster.
The waiver wire will be open until noon on Wednesday.

This year, the Browns will also be able to carry 17 practice squad players if one player is international. The additional spot was added for an international player from last year’s 16-man practice squad.
The Browns will begin their 2024 NFL season on Sunday, Sept. 8, against the Dallas Cowboys. The game at Cleveland Browns Stadium will kick off at 4:25 p.m.
