The Cleveland Browns are looking to beat the AFC North-leading Pittsburgh Steelers for the second time this season.
CLEVELAND — AFC North Rivals, the Cleveland Browns (3-9) and Pittsburgh Steelers (9-3) are battling for the second and final time this season in a Week 14 NFL contest.
The teams met just over two weeks after the Browns spoiled Pittsburgh’s trip to Cleveland, winning 24-19 in a snowy Thursday Night Football game.
Now, the Browns will head into enemy territory as the AFC North-leading Steelers look to get revenge on their rival sitting at the bottom of the division.

After a frustrating loss to the Cleveland Browns, the Pittsburgh Steelers responded with a dominating offensive performance against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 13. Pittsburgh’s 44-38 victory secured another winning season for head coach Mike Tomlin. It also featured a lights-out performance from QB Russell Wilson, who threw for a season-high 414 yards with three touchdowns.
The Steelers will likely be fired up, looking for revenge against this Browns team that beat them in Week 12. A lot is on the line for the Steelers as they are trying to win the AFC North this year. On the other hand, the Browns aren’t playing for a playoff spot, but they are looking to play the role of being a spoiler for the rest of the season.
Last week, the Browns lost to the Broncos 41-32, with Jameis Winston throwing for a team-best 497 yards. Despite the stellar numbers from Winston, his three interceptions (two pick-sixes) cost the Browns on Monday Night Football.
As the Browns head into Pittsburgh, one of the main focuses for Winston and the offense must be protecting the ball against a commanding Steelers defense.
The Browns have improved immensely on offense since Deshaun Watson’s injury, but they are still unpredictable.
Sunday also will mark Nick Chubb’s return to Acrisure Stadium. The last time the star RB played in Pittsburgh was when he suffered a season-ending knee injury.
Earlier this week, Chubb said, “It’s a divisional game, so for me, that’s enough for me to get excited about, but I’d be lying if I said I haven’t thought about it, going back to that place where it happened last year.”
When the Browns played the Steelers this season in Week 12, Chubb scored two touchdowns.
