‘Challenges make me stronger and allows me to adapt in unique situations,’ said Myles Garrett.

CLEVELAND — While Cleveland Browns star DE Myles Garrett has yet to play in a Super Bowl, he’ll still be appearing on football’s biggest stage—this time in a commercial.

According to officials, Garrett will appear in Oikos’ new Super Bowl ad, “Surprising Strength,” alongside actress Juno Temple.

The commercial, which airs during Super Bowl LIX on Sunday, Feb. 9, highlights the brand’s protein-packed Greek yogurt and delivers a humorous, action-packed storyline. Garrett and Temple face a last-minute airport gate change, testing their strength.

“As a defensive end, I am constantly adjusting my game to fit different circumstances. I’ve learned to embrace sudden changes instead of fearing change,” said Garrett, 2023 Defensive Player of the Year. “Challenges make me stronger and allows me to adapt in unique situations. This is the message I want to share through the Oikos ad: strength can show up in ways you don’t expect – like when a friend lets you lean on their strength when you need it most.”

The announcement of Garrett’s Super Bowl ad appearance comes just a day after the star pass rusher requested a trade following eight seasons in Cleveland.

In a statement shared with the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Cleveland.com’s Mary Kay Cabot and ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the 29-year-old said while he’s “loved calling this city my home, my desire to win and compete on the biggest stages won’t allow me to be complacent. The goal was never to go from Cleveland to Canton, it has always been to compete for and win a Super Bowl. With that in mind, I have requested to be traded from the Cleveland Browns.”

The ad marks Oikos’ sixth consecutive Super Bowl appearance and can be watched below:
