CLEVELAND — Of all the people to mess with in Cleveland, one would think that Browns defensive end Myles Garrett would be pretty far down the list.

One alleged “fan” of the team, however, appears to have thought otherwise.

On Wednesday, the 2017 No. 1 overall pick took to Twitter to share a less than friendly encounter he had just experienced. According to Garrett, a “fan” hopped out of his car to take a picture with him before promptly punching the 6-foot-4, 270-pound defensive end in the face.

“A ‘fan’ hopped out his car to take a picture with me and then punched me in my face,” Garrett tweeted.

The 2018 Pro Bowl selection appeared less than impressed with the perpetrator’s power.

“Hm, put your legs into it,” he added. “Might have actually made me flinch.”

In a subsequent tweet, Garrett further explained what happened, while referring to the punch as a “pillow tap.”

While punching anyone as large as Garrett, who currently leads the NFL with 9 sacks through six games, is obviously unwise, it’s also worth noting that the Texas A&M product spent a portion of his offseason training with “the baddest man on the planet,” UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic.

“It’s been awesome putting in work with @flash_garrett,” Miocic captioned a photo of the two on Instagram in July. “New Cleveland blood, same championship DNA. Dude is a monster!!!”
