What was billed as the rivalry’s biggest matchup in years ended with Cleveland losing its 17th consecutive game at Heinz Field, a streak of futility that dates all the way back to 2004. Nothing seemed to go right on this day, with Baker Mayfield emerging as the face of an overwhelmed offense and various defenders struggling to make tackles.
Although the Browns still sport a solid 4-2 record and are the early favorites in next week’s showdown against the Cincinnati Bengals, fans are understandably not happy with what transpired Sunday. While some are preaching patience, most have expressed disgust at what they saw, along with a feeling of deja vu.

A lot of the blame is gonna be directed at Baker, but let’s be honest: No one on the #browns played well today.
