After a few weeks of rough injuries for the Cleveland Browns, some good news today as the team is bringing running back Nick Chubb off the injured reserve list.
Chubb suffered an MCL injury during the Browns’ Week 4 matchup with the Dallas Cowboys, and has missed the team’s last four games. Chubb was able to avoid surgery, and the designation could pave the way for a return in Week 9 against at home against the Houston Texans.
The roster still faces other questions ahead of that matchup, with quarterback Baker Mayfield placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list on Sunday. Mayfield could be eligible to return to practice by as soon as Wednesday.
