CLEVELAND — Week 1 of the 2022 NFL regular season saw one of the most emotional wins the Cleveland Browns have earned since their return in 1999.
It may not have held the weight of a playoff victory against the Steelers, but the Browns were able to exercise another demon of their past by not only defeating their former signal caller Baker Mayfield, but earning their first week 1 win since Jeff Garcia led the 2004 team to a victory against the Ravens.
