CLEVELAND — It’s another lump of coal in the stockings of Cleveland fans.
The Browns were officially eliminated from the playoffs this Christmas Eve by virtue of a 17-10 loss to the New Orleans Saints. Those who braved the freezing temperatures saw Cleveland jump out to a 10-0 lead, only to watch the team once again fall apart in the second half.
It was really a microcosm of the Browns’ entire season, their 21st losing campaign in the 24 years since returning to the NFL in 1999. In familiar form, the primes of great players like Nick Chubb and Myles Garrett appear to be being wasted, anger is being directed at the head coach, and there are even some quarterback questions after Deshaun Watson posted the lowest passer rating of his career.
Let’s see what social media has to say about today’s debacle in the cold:
The #Browns only ruined Christmas if you were gullible enough to think they were Playoff-worthy…

I like Stefanski but I’m running out of excuses. If he’s not giving you an advantage with his playcalling, I’m not sure what he’s giving you.

Looks like watching a Christmas movie, or maybe just hanging outside would have been a better option than watching that #Browns

The evidence continues to suggest Kevin Stefanski would be wise to do 2 things at season’s end:
1. Give up play calling
2. Fire Joe WoodsIf he cannot do BOTH of those things, then I don’t see why he himself should be trusted in this job.

I’ll catch y’all in 2023. I don’t have time watch this crap. Imma enjoy my holiday. Respect to all the fans that went to the game and risked hypothermia. You deserve better. Browns fans you can always live out our Super Bowl fantasies through the Bengals #Browns

My question to the Cleveland Browns fandom that wants Kevin Stefanski fired after this season: Who do you replace him with?
This isn’t the same situation with Baker. Watson was a *clear* upgrade.
I feel like people aren’t considering the possibility of hiring a *worse* coach.

Kevin Stefanski cannot be the coach of the browns next season. Plain and simple.

3 and 2.. -20 degree… ya let’s bomb it downfield. 4 and 2 ya let’s bomb it down field… this coach sucks

I think you can both say that Kevin Stefanski should be back next year and that there’s got to be some significant changes to the scheme.
Key words: I think.

Kevin Stefanski’s job should be on the line! Constantly trying outsmart everyone and he ALWAYS ends up as the clown. He’s cost this team many games this year. PATHETIC!!!

Been saying Fire Joe Woods for 2 years now. Welcome to the train

The @Browns are miserable. Spent all assets on Watson. Play Hunt when you’re wasting Chubbs career. Myles made zero plays! Zero! Stefanski can’t call plays and Coach! No runs with Watson second half? My Dad was right…can’t win with Haslem. You win with people! Merry Christmas!

Deshaun Watson just showed everyone that the cold weather is not a factor for him. Big time throws and some big runs. 2 TDs off the board due to drops. We got us a top QB #Browns fans! Let’s go!!

#Browns getting manhandled by a dome team at home on a -31 degree day is one of the most Browns things ever.
