CLEVELAND — How many more weeks of the season do we have left?
We are counting down to the end of this disappointing campaign — another Sunday, another Browns loss.
The Browns fall in Pittsburgh 27-14 and drop to 3-10 on the season, and once again, we’re back to looking at draft position rather than victories down the stretch to try and make the playoffs. That was so fun a year ago, and we are just so far away from that.
I don’t have much for you on today’s loss. I fully expected it. The Steelers highly motivated after losing here in Cleveland two weeks ago in the snow and now kind of jockeying for playoff position in the AFC.
The Browns? It just feels like they’re playing out the string now, right?
Have they quit? I won’t go that far. It still feels like Kevin Stefanski has this football team. But they’re not very good, and their record shows it.
Unfortunately, it just feels like another wasted season in Cleveland. You are what your record is — the Browns are a 3-0 football team, and they look like it.
I can’t ’til this is finally over with.
