CLEVELAND — While Taylor Swift did not make an appearance in Cleveland, she did have an emissary there on Sunday — and not just in the form of her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
Despite rampant speculation throughout town — including on WKYC airwaves — Swift was not in attendance for Kelce’s homecoming as the Cleveland Browns hosted the Chiefs for their Week 15 meeting. While that might have disappointed Swift fans hoping to catch a glimpse of the pop superstar inside Huntington Bank Field, they did get to see a native Northeast Ohioan who has shared the stage with her for decades.
Paul Sidoti, who Swift fans will recognize as the singer’s longtime lead guitarist, performed pre-game as players took the field. The Browns posted video from his performance on social media, making light of the persistent Swift rumors.
Browns legend Bernie Kosar posted some videos from Sidoti’s Saturday rehearsal on social media.
