
The Browns will now host the Dolphins at 4:05 p.m. in a game that can be seen on CBS.
CLEVELAND — For the second time during the 2024 season, the Cleveland Browns have been flexed out of a nationally televised prime time appearance.
On Tuesday, the NFL announced that the Dec. 29 game between the Browns and Miami Dolphins that had been scheduled for a 8:20 p.m. start time for Sunday Night Football on NBC has been moved to 4:05 p.m. and will now be seen on CBS. The new Sunday Night game will feature the Atlanta Falcons at the Washington Commanders.
Previously, the NFL flexed this week’s Browns at Bengals game, which had been scheduled for Thursday Night Football on Prime. The two teams will now meet this Sunday at Paycor Stadium for a 1 p.m. kickoff.
Coming off of last year’s playoff appearance, the Browns were originally slated to appear four times in primetime this season, with all of those games scheduled for the final seven weeks of the season,
While the nation got to see the Browns’ thrilling win over the Steelers on a Thursday night and their heartbreaking loss to Denver on a Monday night, the team’s disappointing 3-11 record will keep them off of primetime for the remainder of the season.
