WKYC: Cleveland Browns OG Joel Bitonio added to Pro Bowl roster

CLEVELAND — For the seventh straight year, Browns guard Joel Bitonio will represent Cleveland in the NFL’s annual Pro Bowl Games.

Bitonio was added to the AFC’s roster on Monday afternoon replacing Kansas City Chiefs guard Joe Thuney due to Thuney’s participating in the Super Bowl. The Browns’ long time left guard now ranks fourth in team history for Pro Bowl selections, trailing only Lou Groza, Jim Brown, and Joe Thomas.

Much like his former teammate and now Pro Football Hall of Famer Thomas, Bitonio has become this era’s iron man for the Browns. Botonio started all 17 games in the 2024-25 season and has appeared in 161 career regular season games, which ranks 13th-most by a Brown in team history and second-most since 1999.
