
The Cleveland Browns have added some fresh faces to their staff ahead of the 2025 NFL season.
BEREA, Ohio — The Cleveland Browns have made several additions and role changes to their coaching staff ahead of the 2025 season. The team has hired Christian Jones (tight ends), Sanders Davis (assistant offensive line), Kyle Hoke (assistant special teams), Adam Morris (assistant defensive line) and Ben Wilkerson (assistant offensive line).
Additionally, Bill Musgrave (quarterbacks), Stephen Bravo-Brown (assistant wide receivers) and Nick Charlton (pass game specialist) will take on new roles.
THE NEW HIRES
Christian Jones (Tight Ends Coach) – Jones joins the Browns after three seasons with the New York Giants, most recently as assistant quarterbacks coach. He previously coached with the Minnesota Vikings, where he worked with wide receivers, including helping Justin Jefferson set an NFL rookie record with 1,400 receiving yards in 2020.
Sanders Davis (Assistant Offensive Line Coach) – Davis spent the past six seasons at Rice University, coaching the offensive line for the last four. He reunites with Browns offensive line coach Mike Bloomgren, who was Rice’s head coach during Davis’ tenure.
Kyle Hoke (Assistant Special Teams Coach) – Hoke has 13 years of collegiate coaching experience, with stints at Texas A&M, San Diego State and John Carroll University, among others. He comes from a family of football coaches, including his father, Jon, and uncle, Brady.
Adam Morris (Assistant Defensive Line Coach) – Morris arrives in Cleveland after serving as the defensive line/run game coordinator at the University at Buffalo, where his unit set a school record for tackles for loss. The Dublin, Ohio, native also coached at Ball State, Eastern Illinois and DePauw.
Ben Wilkerson (Assistant Offensive Line Coach) – Wilkerson brings a decade of NFL coaching experience, previously working with the Jets, Giants and Bears. A former LSU standout, he played in the NFL before transitioning to coaching.
COACHING STAFF ROLE CHANGES
Bill Musgrave (Quarterbacks Coach) – Musgrave, a former NFL quarterback and veteran coach, shifts from senior offensive assistant to quarterbacks coach. With 11 seasons of experience as an NFL offensive coordinator, he has worked with notable QBs like Derek Carr and Matt Ryan.
Stephen Bravo-Brown (Assistant Wide Receivers Coach) – After three seasons as a special teams assistant, Bravo-Brown moves to the offensive side of the ball. He previously coached wide receivers at Missouri State and Wake Forest.
Nick Charlton (Pass Game Specialist) – Charlton, who joined the Browns in 2024 as an offensive assistant, will now focus on the passing game. Before Cleveland, he was UConn’s offensive coordinator and spent time as Maine’s head coach.
